Mission & Purpose

The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation’s efforts support programs designed to promote and maintain a lifetime of good vision. The Foundation supports community outreach to under served populations, education, and research support.


The CEI Foundation provides free, comprehensive eye examination to adults through its four vision clinics. Eligible adults will receive comprehensive dilated eye exams, and vouchers for free glasses through our partner, OneSight Foundation.

The Foundation also provides community screenings through the Dr. Richard S. Kerstine Vision Outreach Program.

Clinic Eligibility:

To qualify, patients must be 18 or older, have no current eye care provider and meet certain annual household income requirements. Proof of eligibility is required.
