Mission & Purpose

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities partners with individuals with disabilities to achieve quality employment, independence and disability determination outcomes.

Services

Services: Basic services may include vocational counseling and guidance, work adjustment, vocational training, job development, and on-the-job supports. Some affiliate programs are: Community Centers for the Deaf, Independent Living Older Blind, and the Business Enterprise Program.

Eligibility

Eligibility is based on three factors: (1) whether a person has a physical or mental ailment which constitutes or results in a substantial impediment to employment (2) if a person can benefit from services in terms of an employment outcome and (3) if a person requires vocational rehabilitation services to prepare for, secure, retain or regain employment.
