The Perlman Center offers specialized evaluations, treatment, and education for children with cerebral palsy and Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). An ophthalmologist or optometrist from the Division of Ophthalmology and an occupational therapist from the Perlman Center provide a comprehensive evaluation for CVI. This is followed by a detailed report and recommendations. The child and family are then scheduled to see the occupational therapist for follow-up visits to review recommendations and develop strategies for intervention.
